Dear Sirs,

In June of this year, I was admitted to the hospital with an extensive grade 4 sacral decubitus ulcer requiring two surgical debridements. I was then discharged to home care for prolonged continued wound care.

During this time, I was introduced to the Aquila Airpulse PK cushion and was intrigued with the underlying concept of individual air cells with alternating pressure customizable to individual situations. In October, although irregular in shape, the wound measured approximately 15 cm x 8 cm x 0.6 cm. At this time, I began to cautiously sit for short periods of time (one to two hours) on the cushion without adverse effect on my wound. Over the next two months, I extended my sitting time up to twelve hours a day, while the wound continued to heal to the point where it is currently a much smaller superficial wound, measuring approximately 6 cm x 5 cm x 0.2 cm. without the Airpulse PK, I would not have been able to sit for extended periods of time without creating additional harm to the wound. The Airpulse PD has allowed me greater freedom and flexibility in returning to routine daily activities.

I am grateful that I was introduced to your product and feel that it has made a significant impact on my ability to return to an active life in a shorter period of time, without worry of continued or recurrent skin breakdown. You are to be congratulated on developing a superior product.

Sincerely,

John. H. Holliman, M.D.

Dear Sirs,

I would like to give you a brief update on the continued healing of my decubitus ulcer while using your Aquila Airpulse PK cushion. The ulcer has decreased to the current size of 4.0 x 2.0 x 0.01 cm. I am sitting up to eight hours at a stretch and credit your cushion with my ability to return to an active life.

Sincerely,

John H. Holliman, M.D.
