Moses Ad

Moses Hamilton Artist - After experiencing a car accident in October of 2002 which left him in a wheelchair, Moses Hamilton, with the love of his remarkable family, found his inspiration again through painting. Through the process of mouth painting, Moses has succeeded in resuming his love for art as a path in his life. Painting in oils and watercolors gives him a full voice to his artistic spirit.

“Art soothes the soul”, says Moses.

ASCENT, by Bruce McGhie - ASCENT is a book written by Bruce McGhie which describes his life since becoming a quadriplegic as a result of an Air Force training accident in 1955. In this memoir, he writes of his life as a man dealing with quadriplegia in a pre-handicap accessible world.

Ascent is not merely a story of one man's struggle, against all odds, to achieve a normal life...it is the story of one man's determination, through sheer will, to live an extraordinary life. This book could not come at a better time. With so many young Americans returning from combat, catastrophically damaged, Bruce McGhie's Ascent offers a guide to a full life...an inspirational alternative to despair.
